Part 5: Bob, Roberta (again) and a crowd of thousands

This is me and Rafi with Bob Burden, the creator of "The Flaming Carrot". His artwork and stories have an acquired taste, but it hadn't stopped me from reading it the past 10 years or so. I even signed my promo book, "It's Not Easy Being Gouine", for him.

This is the main aisle of the exhibit area. As you can see, it gets really crowded, especially near the "Star Wars" exhibit.

Same spot, different direction. It was said that 95,000 people visited this year's Comic Con, topping the previous record of 89,000 at the 2004 edition.

This is me with Roberta Gregory again, one more time before going home. I included an Azumanga Daioh book in this shot, as Roberta's hair and glasses reminded me of Yomi (left).

Did I turn Roberta into an otaku? Only time would tell, and only Roberta knows for sure.
