Rugrats Go Wild

Commercials

The First Trailer

The first trailer to the film was released on 12/20/2002, preceding The Wild Thornberrys Movie. Here is the transcript from the trailer, along with pictures.

The first TV commercial was similar to this trailer.

That trailer begins in the psychiatrist's office, with an unseen man telling the psychatrist his problems:
"I just felt so alone for all of my life.
It's like there's been this wall between me and the rest of the world.
People see me, sure. But nobody really knows me. "
A nose is blown; a tissue falls on the floor.
"I'm sorry. Its just that I have all these feelings I want to express and everything's been kept locked up inside me, until now!

You are the first person I've ever known who really understands me."

We then turn around to reveal that the patient is actually Spike.

Then, we hear the psychiatrist say:

"I'm glad I can help, Spike."

The psychatrist is them revealed to be Eliza.

Then, some quick clips from the film flash on screen. During this time, we hear the announcer say:

"Paramount Pictures...

...and Nickelodeon Movies...

...presents Rugrats Go Wild [The Rugrats Meet The Wild Thornberrys]...

...starring Eliza, Tommy...

...Darwin, Chuckie, Donnie, Phil and Lil, Debbie, Susie, Angelica...
...and featuring the voice of Bruce Willis as Spike."

We return to the office:

Spike: "I am so grateful. I dont know whether to give you a big kiss or just slobber all over you from top to bottom."

Eliza: "A kiss would be fine."

Spike: "Who wants a tongue bath?" [licking sound]
