Any creator knows that anything and everything can be used to enhance the creative process.

For me, a big help for character development is my characters -- as dolls.

It all started in July 2005 when I had a Rafi doll made, mainly to show everyone I meet at the San Diego Comic Con.

Since then, my doll family has grown to four members -- Rafi, Adèle, Nathalie and Théonie. In Théonie's case, I created a character from a doll, instead of the usual doll from a character.

Soon, you'll get to meet the whole family. But for now, let's meet the doll that started it all -- Rafi.
